LA Fall Fashion 2015: Style FW Debut Nikki Lund with Larry Rudolph

Broadway.                                                           The Reef, downtown Los Angeles went into full swing, March 18th at the opening night of Style Fashionweek. A surprise debut to a collaboration on their very own runway: Nikki Lund of Nikki Rich  teamed up with Larry Rudolph, manager to Miley Cyrus and Brittany Spears, to unveil their Fall Winter 2015 Collection.

The collection featured a beautiful runway showcase: a mix of male and female garments, trendy and sophisticated patterns and silhouettes.

 Project Ethos Powered by French Tuesday's took over the evening bringing in their signature showcase of high-powered designers, live art and performers for the 1,000+ guests, hosted by actress Kristian Weathers.

 Meghan's Ready to Wear Spring 2015 collection is the rich artistic tradition and vivid colors of India and the influences of the private Haweli in Jaipur where Meghan spent four months developing her new line. It was this experience that inspired Meghan's vision for Blank Silk: to create a luxury lifestyle brand rooted in sustainable values and enduring quality: Fine silk and wearable art.

Hale Bob- Hale Bob's creator, Daniel Bohbot, started his work in Paris.  Immersing himself in the art, music and film of that city Bohbot developed a style and viewpoint that combined pop culture with the world of couture. 
During a 2001 visit to Los Angeles, Bohbot realized that the "City of Angels" was the place to launch the designs that would quickly make his clothes must-have fashion for Hollywood's celebrity clientele and for taste makers worldwide. 
Salma Hayek, Halle Berry, Heidi Klum and Eva Longoria are all fans who have come to love the look of Hale Bob. All of the prints used by Hale Bob are designed and developed in the Hale Bob studios in Los Angeles.

Liberty Garden- Liberty Garden is the brainchild of Daniel Bohbot, Hale Bob CEO.

Nicole Miller has a degree in fine arts from The Rhode Island School of Design and a degree from l' École de la Chambre Syndicale de la Haute Couture Parisienne in Paris, 
Nicole Miller combines her art training with couture technique. This, along with her French heritage, has given her a unique style and vision. Her irreverent style of clothing has been worn by celebrities such as Angelina Jolie, Joss Stone, Jennifer Aniston, Beyoncé, Blake Lively and Eva Longoria among others. Philanthropically minded, Nicole supports primarily environmental causes such as Waterkeeper and Rocky Mountain Institute as well as many children's charities.

Style Fashion Week Opening Reception at Pump Restaurant & Guests

March 17th, 2015 Style Fashion Week celebrated its 10th season with an opening reception at Pump Restaurant in West Hollywood, hosted by the owner of the restaurant herself, Lisa Vanderpump and husband Ken Todd.        
The night was full of TV celebrities and designers who would be showcasing their collections throughout the week. Lisa Vanderpump describes her setting perfectly, "You enter through the majestic gates, topped with burning flames, you feel immediately transported to a magical garden, perhaps in Tuscany or Provence." The experience that all of the guests received throughout this night was the perfect way to set the tone transitioning into Style Fashion Week as it transpires the level of class, sophistication and just the right amount of sexy that will be showcased throughout the week on and off the runway, and everything surrounding it.

The series of Style shows continues to be the highlight of Fashion Week with international designers and celebrity attendance and garners millions of impressions from local, national and international media. Since 2009 Style Fashion Week has been premiering world-renowned collection during Los Angeles, New York and Dubai Fashion Week.                                                                                   This season's Style show presented a world-renowned collection of masterpieces crafted by designers, including Nikki Lund, Andre Soriano, Sam Sarpong and Boy London, Ashton Michael, Andrew Christian, CA-RIO-CA, R Michel'le, Coco Johnson, Ophelia Song, Kinsman Swim, Versa Swim, Latrodectus Lingerie, Nancy Vuu, Daiki Shimizu, Antti Asplund, Gaby Wild and K. Nicole, benefiting the American Heart Association.

Style announced their partnership with Nicolas G Perez, an agent with the Covina Valley office of New York Life, a Fortune 100 company that is one of the largest mutual life insurance company in the United States and one of the largest life insurers in the world and the American Heart Association. Prive, Starlooks and Glam Squad were also present as they provided mini makeovers to guests to give them a sense of the experience their products provide as they will be providing hair and makeup for Style throughout the week.

The finale day of Art Hearts fashion brought bridal gowns by Jaime Elysee Couture to the runway. The collection featured lace embellishment and rich textures adorned with patterned details.  
                                        Nouveau Riche showcased  a street-wear collection featuring signature short dresses and long gowns with high
slits - polyester-spandex ponte back, lined with power mesh and gold chain detailing.

Closing the day show was Sanyae Demure. Combining floor length hemlines with high slits, and long sleeve bodices with plunging necklines, Sanyae Demure ushers in a new era of womens wear.

Cary Santiago Presents At Art Hearts Fashion
For the very first time, Cary Santiago showcased for Los Angeles Fashion Week at Art Hearts Fashion on March 12th 2015.  Opening for the 9PM showcase, Cary Santiago embodied and summoned the goddesses of ancient times to hit the runway. A spectacular and breathtaking show left guests and fashion goers speechless.  "RockStar Wigs" were providing all the wigs for Cary Santiago’s presentation that were cut and styled by celebrity hair stylist Kim Kimble and her hair team from TV’s hit show “LA Hair”!  
Color palette this season consisted of rich silver-grays, blacks, and a pop of deep red for one of the warrior princess looks.  Russian Supermodel Dina closed out Cary Santiago’s show with drama, royalty-like presence. Cary Santiago only custom creates for the elite, and is adored throughout the Philippines .

Reigning to us from Philadelphia, designer and fashion stylist Lia Mira captivated guests during La Fashion Week with her brand House Of Li Jon Sculptured Couture line. 
Wearable chain-maille designs at its very best and unlike anything that Los Angeles has seen. 
Done with precision and a lot of dedicated time, 
Lia has an eye and taste on what she creates. She makes sure that all her links are in all the right places and that the woman wearing her creations feel sexy, confident, and powerful.   
This is the first show that House Of Li Jon has participated in Los Angeles and after a successful show at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week in New York.

Hallie Sara showed Fall/Winter looks that are classic, yet modern and chic.  
The collection is crafted from exotic skins, fine cashmere, woolens and delightful silks.  Looks included peplum jackets, shift dresses, wide-leg trousers, silk blouses and capes with whimsical print linings. 
The color palette consisted of monochromatic blacks, grays, and rich earth tones.    
This season the Hallie Sara brand presented menswear for the first time with strong, masculine, and perfectly tailored cuts.  The inspiring collection has a sophisticated European touch of glamorous movie stars.

Young Persian designer Pedram Pasha Taheri from New Orleans joined LA Fashion Week this season. 
Opening for Pedram Couture was model-singer Korinna who sang a beautiful rendition of “Stay” -  then later graced the runway. Celebrity guests who closed out the show included Gretchen Rossi, Leyla Milani, Asifa Mirza, and Pooneh.
 Models were wearing red, black and gold detailed gowns with elaborate hand beaded textiles.  Pedram also featured some entertaining and different looks that consisted of jumpers, bodysuits, dramatic tails, and a flawless cape.  Russian supermodel Dina graced the catwalk towards the end of the show wearing a Pedram Couture black royalty cloak that was worn over a one of a kind dragon-esque detailed corset that was designed and made by designer Jake Chernobyl.

Style FW Fall Fashion 2015: The American Heart Association’s GO RED For Women

The Red Dress Collection showcased at Style Fashion Week this year, and was backed by the first-ever collaboration of leaders in the fight against heart disease in women. 

The American Heart Association’s Go Red For Women movement and the National Heart, Blood and Lung Institute’s (NHLBI) awareness campaign, The Heart Truth—both known for the iconic red dress that symbolizes the fight against the No. 1 killer of women.

“It is a distinct privilege to join with The Heart Truth as co-presenter of the 2015 Red Dress Collection Fashion Show,” said American Heart Association CEO, Nancy Brown.

 “The Heart Truth has played a seminal role in nationwide efforts to raise awareness of heart disease in women, and Go Red For Women is proud to work together toward our shared goal of improving women’s heart health.”

The Red Dress Collection has kicked off Fashion Week since 2003, with celebrities such as Toni Braxton, Jennie Garth and Felicity Huffman taking to the runway. Zac Posen, Badgley Mischka, Nicole Miller, Tadashi Shoji and other top designers have participated over the years.

The dress icon was created by The Heart Truth and has helped Go Red For Women earn international recognition. It’s only fitting that Go Red For Women and The Heart Truth are now presenting the show together.

Style Fashion Week Showcased the Celebrity Red Dress Fashion Show benefiting the American Hearts Association For Women in its aim to raise awareness and support the fight against heart disease and stroke. 
The runway show March 19th 2015 featured choreographed dancers and special performances combined with entertainment personalities modeling beautiful red dresses from designers like Pol' Atteu, Walter Mendez, Metal Noir, Quynh Paris, Nancy Wu, Single and more. 
The red gowns were paired with celebrities such as Janice Dickinson (super model) Carmit Bachar (Pussy Cat Dolls) along with her adorable daughter Keala.

Designer Pol' Atteu presented a few pieces from his couture collection as finale together with an amazing group of dancers. A choreographed routine was combined with an artistic vocal performance by an Armenian opera singer named Mister X.  Pol' has dressed many celebrities throughout his successful career such as Betty White, Calra Ortiz, Lauren Velez, Dyan Cannon, Shawn King, Katerina Graham, California's Former First Lady and Sharon
